Rui Henriques has worked in several companies since 1983, having worked professionally in the area of Health Information Systems for more than 30 years.

He was a founding partner of the company Vantechaving then been board member of different IT companies for health sector, such as Novabase Porto, CPC Healthcare Solutions, Glintt Healthcare Solutions and Ciberbit, having managed more than 250 employees.

During his professional experience, in addition to the management and leadership of change processes, he was responsible for launching several new solutions for the health area, many of which have become leaders in the Portuguese market.

He also had relevant experience in the "productization" and placing on the market of R&D results from Research Laboratories or Universities.

He focuses was early on the integrated and strategic vision of Health Management, addressing its financial or administrative components to the complexity of clinical areas, in a perspective of efficiency and continuous improvement of the clients / patients and professionals’ satisfaction.

In the scope of IT for health, he has developed work in international markets, in geographies as diverse as Poland, Angola, Brazil or the Middle East, having implemented projects in these countries, with greater relevance in Brazil, with the opening of a country branch.

He also participated in market analysis in other countries.

He studied economics at the University of Porto.

Participation in several training sessions with technical and strategic nature, both organized for IT area and for the Health Units management.
